Allan and I met the modern way—by swiping right on Stir, a dating app for single parents, in January 2023. Our first date was at Bahamas Breeze, and if you ask Allan, I was very late… but somehow that didn’t stop the instant connection or the great conversation that followed.
Our second date is when the magic really happened. Dinner turned into an escape room (where we discovered we make a pretty great team), which turned into drinks… because neither of us wanted the night to end. When he walked me to my car and gave me the sweetest kiss, I remember driving home thinking, “I think he’s the one.” And when you know—you know.
Since then, we’ve created so many beautiful memories together—cruises, trips to Louisiana, time with our families and kids, trying TikTok recipes, puzzle nights, and countless romantic dinners.

The Proposal
In March 2024, Allan planned to propose during a family gathering at our home—but the moment never quite presented itself. After everyone left, we were exhausted and relaxing on the couch when Allan asked me to play slow jams on YouTube.
A few songs in, “On Bended Knee” by Boyz II Men came on… and before I knew it, Allan was right there—on one knee—professing his love and asking me to marry him. It was completely unexpected, intimate, and absolutely perfect.

Located on the beautiful shores of Green Island, Jamaica, Princess Grand Jamaica offers stunning ocean views and luxurious accommodations.
Transportation
The nearest airport is Sangster International Airport (MBJ). The resort is approximately 60–75 minutes away by car. Roundtrip airport transportation will be arranged closer to the wedding date.

Absolutely! We encourage you to arrive early or stay a little longer to fully enjoy the destination.
Can I bring a plus one?
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate guests listed on your invitation. Thank you for understanding!
Do I need a passport?
Yes, a valid passport is required for international travel. Please ensure your passport is up to date well in advance of the wedding.
